World Honey Bee Day

On Saturday, 15th August 2026, Montgomeryshire Beekeepers Association will be celebrating World Honey Bee Day at Gregynog Hall.
This isn’t just another event—it’s our opportunity to open the door to the wonderful world of honey bees, to encourage young minds to become curious about nature, and to help people understand why pollinators matter so much.

Please save the date and bring your children, grandchildren, family, friends and neighbours.

Visitors will enjoy:

  • Seeing live bees safely in our observation hive or Apiary (Weather permitting)
  • Tasting delicious local   honey
  • Honey and plant sale
  • Children’s crafts and hands-on activities
  • Learning about bees, pollinators and biodiversity
  • Meeting friendly local beekeepers and asking questions
  • Food and drinks available from the Gregynog Café

Some activities will have a small nominal fee or suggested donation, helping us continue our education, outreach and community work throughout Montgomeryshire.
